ORADELL, N.J. – Rose M. (Vastano) Viscardi, of Oradell, died Saturday, July 16. She was 101.
Born and raised in Cliffside Park, she lived in Fort Lee before moving to Oradell. She was an active member of Madonna Parish and volunteered in many organizations.
She was proud of her Italian heritage and loved to cook, crochet and most of all, spend time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Maria; grandchildren, Catherine Savery, Thomas Viscardi, and David Viscardi; and great-grandchildren, Robert, Violette, James, Adam and Drew; and brother, Domenick Vastano.
She was predeceased by her husband A. Thomas Viscardi.
Visitation is on Tuesday, from 5-7 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. A funeral service from the funeral home will begin on Wednesday at 9 a.m., then go to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Oradell for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
